Well folks I've decided to put the Custodes on hold for a while. I've been tooling around with going back to my first love. That would be Blood Angels. I have always enjoyed the fluff behind this army and look forward to getting a nice looking army on the field.

Going to A-kon

Well folks the Heroic 28's will be hosting a 40k event at A-kon next year. Details are still being ironed out, but I will post them as soon as possible.

The Aftermath

     Yesterday was the first annual Rumble in North Texas Rogue Trader Tournament. We had 30 folks show up from all over the state of Texas.

The format for the event was a variation on the NOVA missions. Four points were awarded for winning the primary objective, three for secondary, and 2 for the tertiary. Sportsmanship and paint were included in the final scoring. 

    I would like to thank all the folks for attending. Thanks to Area 51 Games for all the help in the terrain, tables, and prize support. 

     The Heroic 28s will be putting on another event sometime in Febuary......look forward to seeing you there

Working On the Custodes....

Well got to work on the some of the vehicles of the Custodes...My rhino/razorback is coming along. Hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to post some WiP pics

More work on the custodes

Well, last night I was up until 4.30am with a sudden burst of creativity. I got the work done on the shoulder pads of the base troopers. They now have raised scalloped edges and rimed shoulders pads. Hopefully this will enable me to press mold them to get good solid greens for casting.

More work on the custodes

So I have finally began to get the legs done for the rest of the Custodes. My only complaint is that they take forever to set up so I can start on the arms. Use "brown" stuff for this batch as it seems that it give a harder edge and is sand-able so i can clean up the edges so I can make some casts.

OK folks got the cast made for the 30mm base for these bad boys. hopefully I can crank out the bases.

Update on the Custodes....

So I did a little more on the Custodes Project. The terminators are coming along just fine, and I've started on the cloaks of the the others. Hopefully I can get the pics to upload. Something is wrong with my camera. So alas no wip pics at this time.

Upcoming RT

Well we are having our annual RT at Area 51 in Grapevine TX, on November 13th. It looks like we are going to have quite a turnout. I have received a ton of lists from the Austin folks. This year will be a good year for us.
