New Sister Rumors

"I want to confirm for everyone that the Sisters new “book” will be coming out sometime this year (most likely before the Necron release). There is more– SoB will be White Dwarf only release stretched over two issues, with a online PDF by the end of the year. I had reported this possibility (in a cryptic matter before) on BoLS, so this is a confirmation of said rumor. Cruddace will be the author for PDF as well. No word on new sculpts, but my bet is on only resin recast of existing models. As for the rules I have nothing to report as of yet, but look for at least two ecclesiastical characters from the fluff/past to appear in the new dex."


Wow if this is true, then this a big change from the rumors that are currently out there. I guess this also means that Sisters are going to be a direct order only army. So much for them getting a new book.......

The "Art Scale" Custodes

Ok folks,

As many of you know I have had this crazy idea of making an upscaled version of the Adeptus Custodes. This has been in the works since last WARGames Con. Thanks to Master of the Forge for his tutorial on making his "Art Scale" marines. I've been plugging away on them. I still haven't gotten the process completely correct for a mass build up, but they are coming along.

"Nids" vs. Space Wolves.

Ok folks,
Got in a game this Saturday against Robert, a great fellow. He was trying out his space wolves army. We played a 2000 point game. The Lists are as follows:

WIP Count as Mephiston

Here is my counts as Mephiston. Chief Librarian Lucius Thurinus

Base model is the Librarian on foot with bolt pistol. I modified the sword arm into the plasma pistol. The sword arm is a bit that was garnered from Abaddon.I filed down the edge to bring it line with the "modern" fine line weapons. As opposed to the "old school" blunt edge. The hand and arm have been replaced so that the pose is a little more dramatic.

New Paint scheme for the Angels

Howdy all,
Sorry for the lack of up dates but alas work has been in the way. So, I am getting ready for Adepticon, and was looking at various ways to paint my 1000 points for the team tourney. I looked at the standard BA red, some of the other offshoots, even to the Lamenters chapter for inspiration, but finally found it over at Bolter and Chainsword.
